  2. This text file contains instructions on how to execute "Icon Editor".
  3.

  5. If you are reading this then you've already decompressed the program source
  6. files (including this file) into a temporary directory (Ex. C:\TEMPDIR). 
  7.

  10. IMPORTANT
  11.  
  12. To execute "Icon Editor", the file "VBRUN300.DLL" is required in your
  13. \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.  This file is available on Compuserve,
  14. and is named "VBRUN3.ZIP".  Note that if you've already successfully 
  15. downloaded and executed Visual Basic 3.0 shareware, then you already
  16. have the file "VBRUN300.DLL" and do not need to download it again.

  20. To install "Icon Editor", follow the procedure described below.

  23. 1)    Click on the group you want to test Icon Editor from.
  24.  
  25. 2)      From Program Manager execute the File New command.
  26.  
  27. 3)      Choose Program Item.
  28.  
  29. 4)      Enter 'Icon Editor' as the Description
  30.  
  31. 5)    Enter 'icon.exe' as the command line.
  32.  
  33. 6)    Enter the path leading to the 'icon.exe' program file.
  34.  
  35.     Example:  If the pre-installed program files are located in 
  36.     "C:\TEMPDIR", then enter C:\TEMPDIR .

  38. 7)    Click the Ok command button.
  39.  
  40. 8)    Execute the Icon Editor program using the generated
  41.     icon on your Windows desktop.
